Increase of energy efficiency and use of RES by Brkić Izumi d.o.o.

Phe project was co-financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU from the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism. The goal is to stimulate economic recovery and strengthen the green and digital transition of SMEs.

Development of a series of four-inlet fans for industrial plants

The project involved the development of a series of four-inlet fans protected by two patents. Two dimensions of the series have already been installed in HŽ trains. Flow simulations were conducted at FER for all fan dimensions, and prototypes were manufactured by 3D printing and tested in an accredited laboratory for all series representatives (132, 160, 200, 250, 315 and 400 mm).

Investment in the robotisation of welding processes and improvement of business digitalisation

Within the “Strengthening competitiveness through digital and green transition” call, a project of welding robotisation and business digitalisation was implemented. Robotic welding offers more competitive products by eliminating human error. Extraction of gases from welding and grinding improved working conditions and prevented harmful emissions.

Commercialisation of 2 series of industrial fans

The commercialisation project for 2 fan series (NCV and NCVe) protected by patents enabled the production of 114 fan type variants and testing of 3 prototypes. The project contributes to sales growth in domestic and foreign markets and increases the share of high added-value products.

Introduction of ERP and software support for production

Within the IKT-2 call, a project was implemented introducing a central IT system for process support, production monitoring software, material and time optimisation, and 3D printing for development purposes.

Introduction of ISO certifications to increase competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets

Within the “Introduction of business process and quality management systems” call, quality standards were introduced: ISO EN 3834, HRN EN 15085, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 and GDPR. The project established prerequisites for participation and competition in domestic and foreign markets.

Equipping a new facility for AKZ (anti-corrosion protection)

Within the “E-impuls” call, a project was implemented to equip a new anti-corrosion protection facility. The project enabled establishing a new AKZ business unit, expanding the production hall with a crane and welding equipment. Four new jobs were created and the company was promoted at an international trade fair.

Within the “Next Generation EU” instrument, the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism was introduced with the aim of stimulating the recovery of economic and investment activities and strengthening the competitiveness, green and digital transition of SMEs.

HAMAG — subsidised loans

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, our Company received a long-term working capital loan from HAMAG BICRO in the amount of 750,000.00 HRK. The approved amount greatly helped us overcome the situation.

Final recipient of the financial instrument co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Programme “Competitiveness and Cohesion”.
